For this station, you are going to be a Career Counselor.
As a boy, Alexander Calder, nicknamed 'Sandy', loves to be creative! His parents think this is great, until it comes time to choose a career. His parents discourage him from pursuing art as a career! The surprising thing is that Calder came from a family of artists. His mother was a portrait painter. His father and grandfather were sculptors. Why would Calder's parents, artists themselves, NOT want their little boy to become an artist? Visit the following sights and make a guess.
